Current responsibilities 

Jason is responsible for directing and supporting Crescent Canyon’s property managers in  their day-to-day operations across the firm’s entire portfolio, as well as for operational  financial management, reporting, and budgeting. Jason is also responsible for regular  coordination between Crescent Canyon’s ownership clients and its leasing, management, and maintenance teams. 

Previous experience 

Jason has over 15 years of experience in the multifamily housing industry, including  progressively responsible supervision of property management teams. Before joining  Crescent Canyon he supervised on-site leasing, customer service, and maintenance teams  at various locations in Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura counties for the Real Estate  Investment Trusts (REITs) Archstone and AvalonBay. 

Jason has managed leasing and operations at properties with hundreds of units during  major renovations and new lease-ups. He has coordinated between residents, contractors,  and project teams during capital improvements and has managed residential assets with  asbestos, lead, ground contamination, and mold remediation challenges. He has extensive  experience training and directing staff in the implementation of Fair Housing and Landlord  Tenant laws, as well as experience managing rent-controlled properties in the cities of Los  Angeles and Santa Monica.

Jason has earned a reputation for excellent hiring, onboarding, and performance management and is known for recruiting, developing, and retaining premier sales, service,  and supervisory associates. He was awarded Archstone’s Regional Property of the Year and AvalonBay’s Leadership Mentor awards in recognition of these achievements. In  addition, Jason is known for his superior skills in customer satisfaction and retention, online  marketing and reputation management, and market condition analysis and reporting. 

Jason has experience in budgeting, variance reporting, and business planning, and has  managed furnished and unfurnished units, short- and long-term residency properties, and  multi-location portfolios. He speaks and writes in English and Spanish. 

Education and affiliations 



Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History, with a double major in Biological Sciences, from the University of Southern California (USC).
